F.I.R.E. was founded by Tolly Burkan, the teacher of teachers.
All the famous firewalking instructors learned here, including Anthony Robbins, Edwene Gaines, T. Harv Eker, James Ray and Sundoor's Peggy Dylan.
In addition to being the first person to ever offer firewalking in public seminars, Tolly Burkan was also the first person to offer public seminars that taught ordinary people to walk unharmed, barefooted on shards of broken glass, the first to teach public classes that included metal bar bending, barehanded brick breaking,
arrow snapping and many other esoteric practices usually reserved for a select few. Tolly emphasizes that all these displays of personal power are merely external metaphors reflecting an inner state of heightened awareness and empowerment.
F.I.R.E. is offering the following EMPOWERMENT INTENSIVES (including F.I.R.E. Firewalking Instructor Certification) in 2008:
"Firewalking or bending metal may have little utilitarian value, but phenomena of this sort can break through the stranglehold classical scientific and religious thought have placed on our self-images and personal possibilities." The Empowerment Intensive with F.I.R.E. Firewalking Instructor Certification is also conducted privately for individuals, by either Tolly or one of his associates. The cost of this three-day private training is $7,500 and can be scheduled at your convenience. (Small private groups of two or more are $5,000 per person.) For more information call +1.800.218.0055 or by clicking here.
(From outside the US, phone +1.209.928.1100.)
During the Intensive, you will receive everything necessary to launch your career as a certified firewalking instructor. But even beyond the certification, this is an opportunity to receive career coaching and attain personal excellence under the guidance of world-class masters. A better understanding of F.I.R.E.'s approach to empowerment can be gained by reading Tolly's book Extreme
Spirituality - Radical Approaches to Awakening .
If you want to learn how to be a successful firewalking instructor, Anthony Robbins himself recommends F.I.R.E.
Dear Tolly,
I want you to know that on the 10th anniversary of my Firewalking Instructor
Training, I just completed a firewalk program for the CEO of EMC and his top 150
managers from around the world. I think this was the first time that the CEO of a
Fortune 500 company actually did the Firewalk.
I guess the idea that most people over-estimate what they can accomplish in
a year, and under-estimate what they can accomplish in a decade has a certain
relevance for me. I was told by many people in 1992 that there
was no future in doing Corporate Firewalks. Ten years, and more than 10,000
people later, I'm still here.
I wanted you to share in this moment with me.
