FIT Day 1

FIT Day 1 brought together April EFIT students with FIT attendees to work together. The day started with group building activities which fosters communication, trust, direction and individual contribution to assist the development of a group task. Later, students discussed personal goals they would like to achieve and had an opportunity to discuss perhaps perceived obstacles that stood in their way of success. A hypnosis session lead by Richard Nongard discussed the possible practical applications of hypnosis basics and allowed students to practice induction. The day ended with the build and walk of many attendees first fire walk. Students ended the day feeling empowered and overwhelmed with thoughts and goals. One student said "The experience was beyond description, I cant wait to get out there and do things that I wrongly thought I couldn't do. If I can do this, and I did, then nothing is going to hold me back".

EFIT Day 4

Day 4 EFIT students were fortunate to spend more time with Tom Neisen and learn new sales approaches to further their individual development. Tom provided insightful information that is relevant in todays economy. Mid day, the EFIT students meet with Richard Nongard who has authored many books, videos and professional educational materials, including hypnosis textbooks. Richard spent time with the students discussing and teaching the value and application of hypnosis as well as allowing them to practice induction and hypnosis basics. Towards the end of the day, EFIT students prepared for the arrival of FIT students by selecting and preparing a facilitation section to teach FIT students activities such as board breaking, glass walking, low ropes exercises and the introduction to the firewalk.

EFIT Day 3

Day 3 EFIT students had an opportunity to practice presentation and speech skills. Krish Dhanam again facilitated the process and provided valuable feedback. Focus was on intent, rather then content. EFIT students also selected the FIT emphasis they would like to present and teach during the upcoming FIT session. With the coaching of Krish Dhanam, students prepared their individual sections and now feel confident in their presentation skill set. EFIT students will be teaching: board break, rebar steel bend, brick breaking, the glasswalk, arrow snap, and the firewalk. The day was not over: EFIT students had the fortunate opportunity to meet Tammy Kling, author of The Compass and 29 other books. Tammy discussed the book writing process which includes: content development and the intent of message, drafting, writing, proofing, editing and publishing. Tammy also discussed ghost writing and joint author ventures and the publication process (self publishing, going through a publisher, and collaborative publishing). Tammy also identified the income stream opportunities including: coaching, speaking, book sales, and ghost writing. Tammy also provided a very in-depth question and answer session which allowed EFIT students to begin the brain storming process as well as get a true idea of what it takes to get published. The EFIT students left motivated and with knowledge of how to write and publish a book.

EFIT Day 2

Day 2 EFIT We were very lucky to have Krish Dhanam lead off Day 2. Krish Dhanam was mentored directly by Zig Ziglar himself and now heads the Zig Ziglar Corporation as the number one communicator and public speaker. The EFIT students had an amazing opportunity to learn from a true industry leader. Students were taught techniques in presentation, posture, gestures, voice inflection, connecting with the audience, using personal experiences to relate to the audience, and overall intent of communication. Krish conducted one-on-one coaching sessions with students allowing them to video tape themselves and review the presentations. Getting one-on-one coaching and review from Krish Dhanam is without a doubt an experience that all students will remember and cherish and assist them in becoming powerful communicators. Accompanying communication, Jeff Crilley, 25 year Fox News anchor veteran gave a guest presentation on the power of media coverage. Specifically, Jeff addressed the elements in his book Free Publicity that emphasizes the value of news, the facilitation of a news or press conference, how to deal with media scrutiny, and how to work together with the media to promote yourself. EFIT students were provided a chance to ask specific questions from a true industry insider. Tom Niesen, owner of Acuity System, Inc. coached EFIT students on the art of business sales and the way to develop and promote a business. Tom is also an accomplished developer of magic tricks having developed magic tricks for several well known magicians. For the first time in a EFIT presentation, Tom used the implementation of magic as an example for paying attention and identifying false evidence as appearing real.

EFIT Day 1

Day 1 EFIT We are fortunate to have kicked off Day 1 EFIT with low rope activites. As EFIT students have already conducted low ropes are participants, the EFIT emphasized the facilitation of low rope activities. The premise behind low ropes is team development, team trust, and leading a group towards a common goal. Many of the students learned new techniques that allow creative thought and working outside of internal parameters. Day 1 also kicked off the first firewalk (daytime). The daytime firewalk is an advanced firewalk that students got to experience. Daytime firewalks are not the standard, however, students were taught the variances of preparation in equipment as well as mindset. As a team, the EFIT members built and participated in a sweat. Although facilitation of the sweat is not part of the certification, the students had an opportunity to participate. Cultures from around the world have different variations and interpretations of the sweat. The EFIT sweat emphasizes moments of gratitude, forgiveness, chants, and rebirth.
